the process

first appointment

On your first appointment we will decide together which shape, drape, shade and fabric will work best for you and for the occasion. If you want, please bring your ideas, photographs, cut outs from magazines, anything you can think of for inspiration so I can understand what kind of style you are after. I will draft a few sketches to illustrate your design and you will choose the one that best describes the dress of your dreams. I will take your measurements and the process will begin.

the fitting

Once we agree on the design, I will make a toile (a mock up) of your dress in a similar fabric to the chosen fabric to check the fit, cut and style. This is the time when you will decide on most of the changes and/or additions. This process will require at least two or three fittings to make sure the fit is perfect and unique.

the final garment

Once all adjustments are taken into account and the final pattern is adjusted, I will cut the dress in the chosen fabric which will fit you perfectly.

pricing

The prices can vary greatly depending on the kind of garment, design and chosen fabric. Prices from £1000 for a wedding dress, £500 for an evening dress, £600 for a two piece suit, all excluding fabrics. Quotes for other garments will be provided on request.
